Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Travis Ikaawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wanderlei Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Darude - Sandstorm kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Wanderlei Silva told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ikaawa fails with the takedown. Silva throws a head kick that misses. Silva has his takedown stuffed and Ikaawa counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Ikaawa. Ikaawa throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Silva works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Ikaawa passes Silva's left leg - he's now in half guard. Ikaawa perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Ikaawa is keen to just control but Silva is a slippery customer. Ikaawa wants to free his trapped foot but Silva is holding on for dear life with his legs. Ikaawa sitting and controlling from the half guard.

And that's the end of the fight! Travis Ikaawa showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ikaawa, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
