The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Farley throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Franklin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Farley fails to land with a series of punches.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Farley lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Farley fails to land with a series of punches.
Franklin tries to counter by closing the distance.
Farley dodges the punch combination from Franklin.
As Franklin tries to get set, Farley tries to push him back and clinch up but Franklin manages to avoid the attempt.

Farley throws a left and a right that both miss

and Franklin moves into the clinch.
Franklin has Farley pressed against the cage, preventing Farley from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Farley breaks the clinch.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Franklin scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Terry Farley.
