This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the welterweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Ramazan Adaev! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Flint Westwood!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Westwood changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Adaev looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Westwood working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Westwood might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Adaev haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
I really don't envy Adaev right now.
