The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Hestler shoots in looking for a takedown but Fontaine manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hestler's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Fontaine attempts a counter takedown but Hestler avoids it well and moves away.
Hestler tries to clinch up but Fontaine circles away and keeps his distance.

Fontaine shoots in and gets a takedown into Hestler's guard.
Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Fontaine (2) vs (0) Hestler
Fontaine wants to control from the top but Hestler keeps moving.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Hestler is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Hestler wants to control the position but Fontaine says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Fontaine is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Hestler has managed to free his arm - good work.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hestler can do anything to dispel that myth.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fontaine frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Fontaine tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Fontaine looking for a guillotine from mount but Hestler is having none of it.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Hestler stops Fontaine from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
Hestler is trying to escape the mount.

Fontaine with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Fontaine is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Hestler is in real trouble.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Fontaine working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Hestler is doing well to defend. Fontaine seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Hestler is forced to tap and this one is over!
