Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Power punishes Lemieux's body with a nice straight punch.

Power throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lemieux takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Lemieux rushes Power and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Power looks to land a combination. Lemieux sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Matisse Lemieux has been cut.
Matisse Lemieux seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lemieux takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Lemieux closes the distance and pushes Power back into the cage.
Power wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lemieux has him pressed against the cage.
Lemieux has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Power clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Lemieux has his opponent's back but Power is looking to stand. He manages to get to his feet and shakes off Lemieux.

Lemieux closes the distance and clinches.
Power wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Lemieux has clasped his hands together around Power's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Power tries to escape but Lemieux is in control.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lemieux lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Power! Lemieux sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Power and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!

After winning the bout, Matisse Lemieux thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
