Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Randal Clappertron!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cottoneye Joe!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Sam Margolis and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joe misses with a low kick.
Clappertron throws a quick counter kick to the body but Joe avoids it.

Joe darts in and clinches Clappertron up against the cage.
Clappertron trying to control the position but instead, Joe has worked for underhooks and has pushed Clappertron into the cage.
Clappertron presses Joe against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Clappertron lands a body punch.
Clappertron lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Joe tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Clappertron misses with a punch on the inside.
Clappertron tries a body shot but Joe blocks it.
Clappertron lands with a short punch from the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Joe tries to pull guard but Clappertron forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Randal Clappertron has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cottoneye Joe.
Clappertron tries to throw a body punch but Joe avoids it by throwing Clappertron back against the cage.
Joe jumps guard but Clappertron stands there with Joe around his waist. Joe gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Clappertron lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Joe tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Joe decides to pull guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Joe working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Clappertron doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Clappertron manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Clappertron is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Joe working for a triangle but Clappertron defends it easily.

Joe has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Clappertron can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Clappertron pushing down on Joe's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Joe is refusing to be controlled, as Clappertron sits in half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Clappertron is looking to advance position but Joe won't allow it.

Clappertron passes the guard and advances to mount!
Clappertron sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Joe is squirming around, avoiding Clappertron's attempts to control the action.
Clappertron tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Clappertron wants to control the pace but Joe is squirming around nicely.

Joe keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Clappertron tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Joe regains half guard.
Clappertron looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Joe tries to roll over but Clappertron keeps him under control.
Clappertron trying to control the action but Joe is working from the bottom.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Joe tries to clinch up
and Clappertron counters with a left and a right that stings Joe.
Clappertron keeps the fight on the outside.
Good standup being displayed there by Joe as he connects with a hook.
Clappertron on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nice shot by Joe.
Joe ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Clappertron moves away.
Clappertron appears to be looking for a big counter.

A shot to the body from Joe misses
and Clappertron connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Joe tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Clappertron is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Clappertron checks a low kick from Joe.
Clappertron feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Joe fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Clappertron really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Joe throws a low kick but Clappertron moves out of range easily.
Clappertron quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Joe lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Joe throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Clappertron tried to counter with a leg kick but Joe avoided it.
Joe tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Clappertron paws at him with a jab and circles away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Clappertron swats away the attempt to clinch by Joe.
Clappertron blocks a head kick by Joe.
Clappertron ducks under a wild hook from Joe.
It appears Clappertron was looking to counter with a kick there.
Clappertron slips under a jab from Joe.
Clappertron throws a quick counter kick to the body but Joe avoids it.
Cottoneye Joe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Joe throws a leg kick
and Joe takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Cottoneye Joe has been cut.
Joe feints and then cracks Clappertron's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Clappertron down.
Joe looks to clinch
and Clappertron makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Joe pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Joe tries to clinch up.
Joe lands a nice looking body shot.
Joe throws a lazy head kick
and Clappertron counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Joe has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Randal Clappertron!
During a confident post fight interview, Randal Clappertron thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
