Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bella Miele (ranked 1988 p4p, 2256 weight class) and Matt Bond (ranked 211 p4p, 237 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bella Miele! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Matt Bond! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Andrew Berry and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miele rushes Bond and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Bond is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. A right hook to the body lands for Miele.
Bond jumps into guard, dragging Miele to the mat.
Bond looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Miele trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Bond looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Miele passes into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Miele takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Miele throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Bond trying to control here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Miele thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Miele wants to take a breather but Bond is having none of it. Bond is trying to control but can't.
Miele is trying to control. Bond wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Bond actively working from the bottom here. Bond looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Miele pushes past his half guard into mount! Bond is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miele looking to control but Bond is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Bond wants to hold on but Miele pushes him away. Bond tries to reverse the position but Miele maintains control. Bond tries to lock up and control but Miele gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Bond tries to improve his position but instead Miele has taken his back! The referee is taking a good look at Bond as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Miele!
Bond covering up well under a series of strikes from Miele. Bond looking very determined here, making life difficult for Miele.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miele controlling well, preventing Bond from escaping the position.
Bond prevents Miele from getting a body triangle. Bond can't escape the position.
Miele looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Miele's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Miele patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? We've been informed that Bond has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Bond tries to escape the position.
Miele is trying to stick to Bond's back but Bond is turning into Miele. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Miele's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Bond. Bond trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Miele manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Miele trying to control the position from guard on top but Bond is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Miele stopping the sweep attempt from Bond. Miele loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Bond is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Bond looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Miele wants to control from the top but Bond keeps moving. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bond working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Miele has passed into half guard!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Bella Miele dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Miele moves into the clinch successfully.
Bond tries to pull guard but Miele won't allow it.
Miele jumps guard and drags Bond to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Miele working a defensive guard here.
Bond is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Miele is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Miele has escaped and now he's on top!
Miele avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Bella Miele overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Miele pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bond is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bond is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Miele is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bond can do to turn this around? Bond works his foot free and advances to mount. Bond with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Bond moves to back control. Bond is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Miele won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Bond off his unconscious opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Matt Bond!
