Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Han Seul Kim (ranked 3530 p4p, 4000 weight class) and Nicolas Diaz (ranked 410 p4p, 455 weight class). Nicolas Diaz has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Han Seul Kim's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Han Seul Kim!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nicolas Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Columbo Gatti and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kim throws a nice outside leg kick.

Diaz has closed the distance and engaged Kim in a clinch.

Diaz is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Let's hope that Diaz has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Diaz has Kim pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Diaz pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Kim tumbling to the mat - Diaz dives into Kim's guard.

Diaz is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Diaz wants to take a breather but Kim is having none of it.
Diaz thows a huge punch but Kim dodges it nicely.

Diaz in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Kim tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Diaz!
