PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Charles Turner (ranked 25341 p4p, 23891 weight class) and PotterStone Livingstone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Charles Turner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, PotterStone Livingstone!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Turner forces Livingstone back against the cage and clinches.

Turner's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Livingstone misses with a head kick.

Turner looking to score a takedown here. Livingstone is defending well but Turner drives through and ends up in Livingstone's guard.
Livingstone being controlled here, momentarily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Turner seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Livingstone for as long as he can get away with.

Turner decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Livingstone, up you get!

Turner drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Turner takes a little break here. Livingstone wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Turner lands a decent elbow from side control.

Livingstone takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Turner decides to stand back up.
Livingstone throws a half hearted mid kick.
Livingstone on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Turner. Turner obviously looking to wear him down.

Turner shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Livingstone tries to kick Turner off in order to stand up. Turner Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
You can see the frustration on Livingstone's face as Turner controls the position.
Turner works to advance to full mount. Livingstone defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Livingstone looks winded!
Turner unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Livingstone wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Turner celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
