Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andrei Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Emelianenko comes to the ring accompanied by You are the best around. Diaz has chosen This Is War as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Andrei Emelianenko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Nick Diaz! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Chris Edwards and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz looks to throw the jab but Emelianenko is out of range. Diaz cracks Emelianenko with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
It looks like Andrei Emelianenko has been cut. Diaz misses with a kick to the body.
Emelianenko tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Diaz paws at him with a jab and circles away. Emelianenko tries to work over Diaz's front leg with a kick but Diaz checks it. Diaz fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. A low kick from Diaz misses and Emelianenko counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Diaz managing to block the knees to the body from Emelianenko.
Diaz throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. A quick uppercut on the inside from Diaz. Diaz lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Emelianenko or not. Emelianenko blocks the elbow strike.
Diaz softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes. Diaz lands a left hand that snaps the head of Emelianenko backwards. Diaz lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Emelianenko wants to control but Diaz is keeping busy and won't allow it. Diaz seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Emelianenko does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Diaz is working for a kimura but Emelianenko is defending it quite comfortably.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Emelianenko tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Diaz!
