Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Faruq Farquaad (ranked 3064 p4p, 4143 weight class) and Ken Kaneki (ranked 321 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Faruq Farquaad!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ken Kaneki!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farquaad throws a hook to the side of Kaneki's head but Kaneki sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kaneki ducks under a wild hook from Farquaad.
Kaneki tries a head kick but it misses.
Kaneki lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Farquaad throws the left hand but Kaneki avoids the punch easily.
Farquaad missing with a left hand there. Kaneki was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Kaneki tries to score a power double leg takedown but Farquaad sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kaneki somewhat.
Kaneki looks for the body kick but Farquaad saw that one coming.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jab, jab by Farquaad - just one landing.
Kaneki avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Kaneki tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Farquaad paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Kaneki clinches up with Farquaad and pushes him back against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Farquaad's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Farquaad really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Kaneki breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Farquaad throws the left hand but Kaneki avoids the punch easily.
Kaneki wants to clinch
and Farquaad cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Farquaad lands with a hook. Kaneki tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kaneki is defended easily by Farquaad.
Nice defenses there by Kaneki.
Farquaad lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Farquaad, as that shot connected.
Farquaad misses with an uppercut. Kaneki saw that one coming.
Farquaad misses the jab.
As Farquaad backs off Kaneki throws a huge counter combo but Farquaad manages to avoid it all.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kaneki staying out of range there.
Kaneki goes for a double leg but Farquaad avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Farquaad continues to drive forward.
Faruq Farquaad has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ken Kaneki.
Farquaad throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kaneki sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Farquaad circles away from the clinch attempt
and Farquaad counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Farquaad is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Farquaad throws a looping overhand right but Kaneki ducks down to avoid it.
Farquaad thuds a left hand into Kaneki's body.

Farquaad connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Farquaad throws the left hand but Kaneki avoids the punch easily.
Faruq Farquaad is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kaneki shoots in looking for a takedown. Farquaad tries to sprawl out of it but Kaneki keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Farquaad manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A little feinted left hand from Farquaad on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Kaneki displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Farquaad throws out the jab.
As Farquaad backs off Kaneki throws a huge counter combo but Farquaad manages to avoid it all.

Kaneki is still on wobbly legs! Can Farquaad finish him?
Farquaad cracks Kaneki with a hook to the temple - Kaneki is on wobbly legs here! Farquaad swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Kaneki falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Farquaad wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Faruq Farquaad!
