Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sss Sss (ranked 23208 p4p, 23209 weight class) and Sss Sss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sss Sss has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 22 - 117 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sss Sss! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 110 - 30 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sss Sss! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Fighter A looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Fighter B fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fighter A sprawls well initially but Fighter B persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Fighter A has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Fighter B is on him like a limpet, forcing Fighter A back against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A wants a takedown but no success here.
Fighter A pulls guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter A not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Fighter A tries to land a sweep but no joy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fighter B not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Fighter B in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Fighter A being controlled here, momentarily. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Fighter B chips away with some ground and pound. Fighter A trying to control the position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Fighter B dives in and scores a takedown into Fighter A's guard. Fighter B stays in close to Fighter A's body and controls the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter A trying to control the position.
Fighter A can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Fighter B controls the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Fighter A is trying to keep Fighter B in close.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter A looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Sss Sss dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Fighter A gets a takedown into half guard. Fighter A looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter B controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Fighter A thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Fighter B trying to control here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Fighter A throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Fighter B shoots for a takedown but Fighter A saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Fighter A looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Fighter B is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Fighter A with a body shot. Fighter A shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Fighter B counters with a thumping low kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A solid body kick from Fighter A. Fighter B leaves Fighter A with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. And Fighter B responds with a good body kick, but Fighter A manages to step out the way in time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sss Sss. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fighter B slaps away a takedown attempt from Fighter A, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Fighter A dives in for a single leg takedown but Fighter B sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Fighter B drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Fighter A gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Fighter B wants a takedown but no success here.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Sss Sss will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round! Fighter B has his takedown stuffed and Fighter A counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Fighter B thinking. Fighter B closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Fighter A's guard. Fighter A trying to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter B sitting in guard here, content to control. Fighter B postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter A being controlled here, momentarily. Fighter A controls Fighter B momentarily but Fighter B frees himself. Fighter B is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Fighter A looking to control.

Fighter A is thwarting Fighter B's attempts to control the position.

Fighter A is looking to take a break and control but Fighter B is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Fighter A in particular looking to stall.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Fighter A's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
