Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Minatay Mibangon (ranked 23825 p4p, 23842 weight class) and Walay Buut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 38 - 54 - 10, fighting out of Las Vegas, Minatay Mibangon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 54 - 45 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walay Buut!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Mibangon gets tackled into the cage by Buut. Buut maintains the clinch.
Buut tries for a takedown but Mibangon manages to get underhooks.
Mibangon breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mibangon looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Mibangon is taking a breather. Buut says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Buut is taking a breather. Mibangon says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Buut is defended easily by Mibangon.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Minatay Mibangon will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Mibangon decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mibangon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Mibangon is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Buut is on top in guard.
Buut not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Minatay Mibangon is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mibangon, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
