Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Higanti Libat (ranked 23548 p4p, 23775 weight class) and Wala Sapi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 41 - 57 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Higanti Libat!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 46 - 48 - 9, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wala Sapi!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Libat darts in looking for a takedown but Sapi gets double underhooks and turns Libat into the cage.
Sapi replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Libat blocks it well.
Sapi doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Sapi is looking for a takedown.
Libat has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Sapi is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Libat has clasped his hands together around Sapi's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Sapi fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Libat sprawls well initially but Sapi persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Well, if Sapi is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Libat holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Sapi slows the pace down in half guard.
Libat is trying to get back to full guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Sapi throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

Sapi is trying hard to land a takedown here. Libat sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
It appears Libat was looking to counter with a kick there.

A close round but Wala Sapi will probably get the nod.

Sapi bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Sapi controls the position.

Sapi's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Sapi is looking to take a break and control but Libat is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The strikes coming from Sapi are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Wala Sapi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

and Libat counters with a solid body kick.
Libat goes for a double leg but Sapi avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Sapi continues to drive forward.
Sapi is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Libat is trying to pull guard but Sapi turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Libat changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Sapi stuffs the takedown.
Sapi is trying to counter with his kicks.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Sapi enables Libat to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Sapi manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Libat won't allow Sapi to sweep him here.

Sapi is pulling down on Libat's head. It's preventing any offense from Libat, at least for the moment.

Higanti Libat has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Wala Sapi is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Sapi is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
