Boytsov has chosen AMAZING as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Miet Cleever has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boytsov shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Cleever slips a straight right by Boytsov.

and Cleever counters with an inside leg kick.
A decent looking cross lands there for Cleever.
Cleever fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Cleever throws the left hand but Boytsov avoids the punch easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've been told by Cleever's head coaches at Hare of the Dog Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Cleever gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

It looks like Dmitry Boytsov has been cut.

Cleever breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Boytsov takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Look low, kick high! Cleever uses the oldest trick in the book to send Boytsov tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Cleever is absolutely delighted - when Boytsov wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
