PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Lue Randle (ranked 3528 p4p, 2989 weight class) and Jonathan Archer (ranked 422 p4p, 364 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 4 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Archer lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

It looks like Lue Randle has been cut.
Randle throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Archer fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Randle looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Randle looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Archer swings wildly with an uppercut but Randle uses good head movement to avoid it.

Archer presses Randle against the ropes and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Oh Randle is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Randle wants to break the clinch but can't.
Archer misses with some punches.
Randle seems to have got his legs back now.
Randle wants to get back to striking at distance but Archer won't allow it.
Archer is pushing Randle up against the ropes, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
