Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hideo Tokoro (ranked 1014 p4p, 2111 weight class) and Kawainui Perry (ranked 136 p4p, 255 weight class). Tokoro comes into the arena with Blksmiith - Gore-Tex Covers my Soul blaring out of the sound system. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hideo Tokoro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kawainui Perry!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Felipe Paraventi and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perry throws a body shot but no joy.
Sloppy strikes from Tokoro. Those never looked like landing.
Tokoro gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Perry.
Tokoro has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Tokoro scores with a jab to the jaw.
Perry tries a head kick but it misses.
Tokoro misses with the combination.
Tokoro takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Tokoro just misses with a punch to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tokoro misses with an uppercut
and Perry connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Tokoro fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Tokoro misses the shot to the body.
Perry slips a jab and a cross from Tokoro.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tokoro throws a body punch but Perry moves out of range.

Good standup being displayed there by Perry as he connects with a hook.
Tokoro fails to land with a series of punches.
Perry swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Tokoro is looking to counter punch.
Tokoro throws a jab but it's blocked by Perry.
Perry swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Perry uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tokoro.
Perry clobbers Tokoro with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Tokoro tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Perry was well out of range. Poor timing from Tokoro.
Tokoro jabs Perry right on the nose. Perry blinks but takes it well.
Perry on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Decent striking displayed by Perry there.
Perry takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Perry lands a big head kick that sends Tokoro tumbling to the mat! Perry takes a step backwards and waves Tokoro back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Tokoro is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tokoro bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Perry comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Tokoro falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Tokoro was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kawainui Perry!
