2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Chad Jam! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Emeliananko sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Emeliananko gets a takedown into half guard. Emeliananko is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jam sees it coming and defends easily. Jam tries to roll over but Emeliananko keeps him under control. Emeliananko is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jam sees it coming and defends easily. Emeliananko is looking for a kimura but Jam is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Emeliananko to get the leverage. Emeliananko has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Jam tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Emeliananko. Emeliananko keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Jam misses with a takedown attempt and Emeliananko counters with a single leg into guard. Jam didn't expect that. Emeliananko is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Emeliananko has gone for a leg lock! Jam slips out almost immediately though and dives into Emeliananko's guard. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Jam prevents Emeliananko from getting the reversal. Jam is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Emeliananko can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Emeliananko is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Emeliananko is trying desperately to improve position. Jam dominating with strikes here. Jam pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Jam avoids the attempt from Emeliananko to control. Emeliananko tries to get back to half guard but can't. Emeliananko is working hard here to advance position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jam raining down shots from the mount! Emeliananko is trying desperately to improve position. Jam is going olschool here, as he tries to force Emeliananko to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Emeliananko shrugs it off. Jam working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Jam lands with some strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chad Jam showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
A punch combination from Jam misses. Emeliananko drives through with a takedown into guard. Jam throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Emeliananko escapes and throws Jam's legs to the side, diving into side control! Emeliananko is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Jam has escaped the position, nice work there. Jam is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Emeliananko is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Emeliananko moves to the back position. Jam is trying to break free.
That's one minute gone in the round. Emeliananko wants to control but Jam is keeping busy. Jam preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Emeliananko. Jam turns into Emeliananko and is now in his guard.
Jam looking to pass the guard. Emeliananko wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Emeliananko has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jam can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Emeliananko is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Emeliananko looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Jam must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Emeliananko looking for subs off his back but Jam has passed one foot through into half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jam wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Emeliananko, who protects the arm well. Emeliananko is looking to regain half guard here but Jam keeps moving and retains side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Emeliananko wants to control but Jam postures up. Jam tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Emeliananko manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Emeliananko prevents Jam from improving his position. Emeliananko wants to work for an arm triangle but Jam is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
