Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Josue Luna (ranked 5386 p4p, 4189 weight class) and Timmy Tung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Timmy Tung has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Josue Luna!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Timmy Tung!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Winston Alpacca and Bart Greer.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Luna closes the distance and pushes Tung back into the cage.
Tung misses with a short punch on the inside.

Luna has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Tung uses from the top position.
Luna has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Luna is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Tung is aware though and is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Luna keeping moving, preventing Tung from controlling successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Luna is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Tung really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Luna. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Luna has his foot on Tung's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tung works his way back into a safe position though.
Tung trying to control the position from guard on top but Luna is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Luna manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Luna turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Tung explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Timmy Tung is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Luna shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Tung is trying to stand up here but Luna is controlling him well.
Tung is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Tung is in trouble now - Luna has advanced to mount!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Luna cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Luna has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
This is a sustained period of stalling by Luna.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Tung is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Tung throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
Luna manages to capitalize on a mistake by Tung to take his back!
Tung is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

Luna lands with a hammerfist to the side of Tung's head.
Luna trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Tung doesn't escape.
