Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Avon Kings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Freddie Cook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Avon Kings! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Freddie Cook! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Sam Margolis and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kings keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Cook lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Cook stuffs the takedown. Cook throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Kings will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Kings on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Kings works over Cook's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Freddie Cook has been cut. Cook has closed the distance and engaged Kings in a clinch.
Cook looking to throw knees to the head but Kings is blocking nicely.
Kings is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Cook gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Kings is pressed up against the cage. Cook has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kings down to the mat. Kings avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Kings fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Avon Kings. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kings tries to clinch up but Cook circles away and keeps his distance. Cook looks for a takedown but Kings sprawls well. Cook has Kings up against the cage in a clinch.

Cook wants to stand but Kings is controlling his posture from full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kings looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cook is one step ahead there. Kings pulls Cook in to control the position. Kings has a loose triangle. That's two minutes gone in the round. Kings is breathing heavily. Kings working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Cook. Cook wants to stand but Kings is controlling his posture from full guard. Cook is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Cook looking to pass the guard. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Cook is stalling in the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cook wants to pass the guard but Kings is keeping the position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Kings keeps the fight on the outside. Freddie Cook seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kings tries to clinch up enabling Cook to counter with a crisp jab. Cook rushes Kings and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. A head punch blocked on the inside by Kings. Kings tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Kings is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Cook is keeping busy. Kings swings away with an uppercut that misses.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Cook slowing the pace effectively. Kings tries for a takedown but Cook manages to get underhooks.

Kings changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Cook fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kings postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kings pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Cook is keeping the position for now. Cook throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Freddie Cook dominated that round. The cut man is working on Freddie Cook's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Cook moves into range and clinches up with Kings. Cook tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Cook lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Cook unloads a knee to the mid-section. Kings lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Cook drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Cook just leaning against Kings, taking a breather. Cook changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Kings fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Avon Kings has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Freddie Cook. Cook moves into range and clinches up with Kings. The is referee keeping an eye on Cook - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kings has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Cook avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Kings is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Cook tries a knee to the head but Kings blocks it.

"I don't think so" says Kings as he avoids it easily. Cook tries for a takedown but Kings sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. No luck for Kings with that takedown attempt. Cook is looking to clinch but Kings is avoiding it.
Cook fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Horrible takedown by Kings or perhaps it was just good defense by Cook which made him look bad. Kings blocks a head kick by Cook.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kings tries to clinch up but Cook circles away and keeps his distance. Cook tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Kings ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cook moves away. Cook gets in close and instigates a clinch. Kings wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Kings can't break the clinch.

Cook throws a head kick that misses. Cook lands with a kick to the temple. Kings shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Kings misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cook scores with a nice body kick.
Cook changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kings looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Kings parries the strikes from Cook easily there. Cook is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Kings to escape.
Cook trying to control the action but Kings is working from the bottom. Kings is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Cook off and has taken his back! Cook looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Cook rolls, trying to escape but Kings keeps control of the position.
Cook controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kings slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Cook fending off the submission attempt from Kings. Cook tries to roll but Kings sticks to his back.
Kings is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Cook up.

Freddie Cook showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Freddie Cook's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Cook wants to get back to full guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Kings passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Cook! Kings wants to control the pace but Cook is squirming around nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cook is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Kings throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Cook because Kings loaded up on that one. Cook tries to reverse the position but Kings maintains control. Kings stands up from mount. Strange move. Kings with a jab. Cook is looking to clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Cook shoots in but no luck this time. Cook tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Kings lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Cook gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Knees in the clinch landing for Cook.

Cook looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Kings tries to clinch up and Cook counters by moving into the clinch. Kings wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Cook has him pressed against the cage. Cook breaks the clinch.
Cook looks for a takedown but Kings sprawls well. Cook throws a right and a left that Kings avoids nicely. Kings keeps the fight on the outside. Nice takedown defense from Cook. No joy for Kings on that attempt. Cook tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kings tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kings misses with a wild combination.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Kings stuffs the takedown attempt from Cook. Cook gets slowly back to his feet. Cook shoots in but no luck this time. Cook misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kings smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Kings avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nice sprawl there from Kings as Cook shoots in. Kings shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cook's guard. Cook wants to stand and escape but Kings is having none of it. Cook throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Cook tries to land a sweep but no joy.
And that's the end of the fight! Avon Kings showed his dominance in that final round. I think Cook has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
