Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Julius Benedict!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 32 - 40 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alex Alexandrov!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alexandrov wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Alexandrov has managed to clinch.

Benedict manages to break the clinch.
Benedict showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Alexandrov.

Alexandrov scores with a jab and follows up with an uppercut that drops Benedict to his knees! He bounces straight back to his feet but is forced to take the mandatory standing 8 count before he's allowed to continue. We're back under way and the fighters meet in the middle of the canvas to re-engage.

It looks like Julius Benedict has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Alexandrov tries to clinch but Benedict moves away
and Benedict cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Alex Alexandrov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Benedict gets tackled into the cage by Alexandrov. Alexandrov maintains the clinch.

Benedict escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Alexandrov tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Benedict manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Alexandrov wants to clinch up but Benedict keeps it at a distance.
Benedict throws a quick inside leg kick.
Benedict throws out a loose jab but Alexandrov uses good head movement to avoid it.
Alexandrov tries to clinch up.
Alexandrov will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Alexandrov misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Benedict tried to counter with a leg kick but Alexandrov avoided it.
A chopping leg kick lands by Benedict.

Alexandrov closes the distance but Benedict moves to the side
and Benedict counters with a leg kick.
Benedict connects with a solid leg kick.
Benedict jabs Alexandrov to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Benedict lands a jab to Alexandrov's midsection.
Alexandrov looks winded!
Benedict lands a nice looking kick to the body. Alexandrov takes a step back to recover.
The crowd cheers as Benedict lands an impressive looking overhand right. Alexandrov doesn't seem phased though.
Benedict scores with a crisp jab that stopped Alexandrov in his tracks.
Benedict tests Alexandrov's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Alexandrov glances at the clock... BAM! Benedict nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Alexandrov crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Alexandrov is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
