And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bambam Yagan!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yagan throws out a loose jab but Diaz uses good head movement to avoid it.
Diaz misses with a double jab.
Diaz tries to clinch but fails miserably
letting Yagan counter with a right hand.
Yagan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Diaz walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Diaz steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Yagan.
Ricardo Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Diaz doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Diaz takes an elbow to the forehead.

Yagan creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Diaz's defenses.
Diaz breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Diaz takes one on the button.

Diaz fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Oh Diaz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Diaz is breathing heavily.
Diaz tries to close the distance and clinch up but Yagan swats him away and circles back towards the center.
BAM! Yagan delivers a spinning backfist that drops Diaz like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
