Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Abdullah Zaire!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 23 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Akimbo Spice!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spice throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Spice misses with the combination.
Spice throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Spice connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Spice fails to land with a series of punches.
Spice looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Zaire swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Spice tries to clinch but Zaire moves out of range.
It looked like Zaire was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Spice.
Zaire keeps the fight on the outside.
Spice throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Zaire is looking to counter punch.
Zaire swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Spice throws a leg kick that is checked
and Zaire counters with a three punch combo that has Spice backing up. Spice nods at Zaire to acknowledge the strikes.
Zaire throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Zaire walks into a left hand.
Zaire swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Spice moves into the clinch.
Zaire cracks Spice with a nice body shot.
Spice scores with an uppercut up the middle.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Zaire takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Zaire.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Spice has a couple of punches blocked by Zaire.
Spice goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Spice lands a hook that snaps the head of Zaire backwards.
Zaire lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Zaire controlling the action here for a moment.
Zaire manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Zaire trying to keep a closed guard but Spice is proving a slippery customer.
Zaire definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Zaire has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Spice doesn't defend quickly enough and Zaire has managed to lock this one up! Can Spice escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Zaire on a fantastic submission victory.
