Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Otto McBean (ranked 346 p4p, 415 weight class) and Michal Sykora (ranked 25 p4p, 30 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Otto McBean!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Michal Sykora!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Sykora.
Sykora misses with an uppercut.
McBean takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Sykora with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Sykora uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from McBean.
McBean throws a predictable looking body shot
and Sykora counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Sykora bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps McBean's head backwards.
McBean lands a slapping body shot.
Sykora is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
McBean shoots in and drives through. Sykora sprawls well.
McBean shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Sykora napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McBean is trying to get an arm triangle but Sykora is defending well.
Sykora is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
McBean thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Sykora pushes McBean away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, McBean gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Sykora wants to get back to his feet but McBean is dominant here and he's now got Sykora's back!
McBean sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Sykora taps out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Otto McBean!
Otto McBean gave a mention to Bondi MMA 🏝️ in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
