Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mateus Canela (ranked 5743 p4p, 24806 weight class) and Micah Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kim comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Let me put my balls in yo jaw kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Canela takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Canela looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Kim cracks Canela with a good jab.
Kim throws a good cross that connects.
Kim lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Canela takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Left hook, right uppercut from Kim.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kim throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A little feinted left hand from Canela on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Kim throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kim clobbers Canela with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Sloppy strikes from Kim. Those never looked like landing.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Kim checks a leg kick.
Canela showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kim.
Kim throws a series of strikes that have Canela backpedaling.
Kim throws a right and a left that Canela avoids nicely.
Canela appears to be looking for a big counter.
Kim looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Canela dodges the punch combination from Kim.

Kim throws a nice looking combination but Canela bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kim lands a jab to the nose.
Canela takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Canela closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kim to the mat! Kim manages to get full guard.

Canela is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Canela forces his way into half guard.

Canela takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Canela blocks the strikes from Kim.
Canela has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Canela has control of Kim's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Kim regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kim tries to hold on but Canela postures up.

Kim is trying to escape the mount.
Kim is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Canela working for a submission but Kim is keeping him at bay.
Kim is trying desperately to improve position.
Kim is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Canela is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Canela extends the arm and Kim is forced to tap!
