And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Chief Tecumseh!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Dirk Anderson and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tecumseh blocks a head kick by Jeffries.
Jeffries fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Tecumseh is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Jeffries doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Tecumseh counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Tecumseh.
Tecumseh drops back looking for a leg! Jeffries is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jeffries manages to kick Tecumseh off! Tecumseh jumps back into Jeffries's guard.
Tecumseh tries to free his leg and advance position but Jeffries is retaining full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tecumseh drops back looking for a leg! Jeffries is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jeffries manages to kick Tecumseh off! Tecumseh jumps back into Jeffries's guard.
Tecumseh drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Tecumseh seems to have locked his on tight now - Jeffries screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Tecumseh, as he picks up the win!

During a confident post fight interview, Chief Tecumseh thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
Deon Jeffries spoke after the fight, saying 'I’ll be back better stronger and faster you bastards.'.
