Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Nice (ranked 2414 p4p, 2411 weight class) and Uno Skibbo (ranked 302 p4p, 300 weight class). Nice comes to the cage accompanied by “Warped” RHCP. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Nice!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Uno Skibbo!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Steven Brown and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Nice goes for a takedown attempt but Skibbo pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Nice takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Nice uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Skibbo.
Skibbo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Nice.
Nice half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Nice walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Skibbo throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Nice stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Nice has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Ironbound MMA in the buildup to the fight.
Skibbo lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Skibbo connects with a looping right hand.
Nice takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like Jack Nice has been cut.
Skibbo misses with a wild body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Skibbo lands with a thumping leg kick.
Nice dives in and scores a takedown into Skibbo's guard.
Nice showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Skibbo is looking for a triangle but Nice pushes his legs off easily.
Nice works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Skibbo controlling the position for now.
Nice wants to pass to mount but Skibbo is defending the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nice passes the guard and advances to mount!
Skibbo is desperately trying to improve his position but Nice has a good base and remains in mount.
Nice seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Skibbo is holding on tight.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nice moves to back control.
Nice has managed to slip his arm under Skibbo's chin. This could be all over... yep, Skibbo is tapping out! Submission win for Nice.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jack Nice!
