Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Benny Darius (ranked 1394 p4p, 375 weight class) and Huntti Mfer (ranked 155 p4p, 49 weight class). Darius's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, In the Shadows - The Rasmus. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

With a record of 13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Huntti Mfer!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Daniel Bishop and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darius throws a jab but it's blocked by Mfer.
Mfer swings widly with a right hand
and Darius counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Mfer is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Darius.
Darius tries to clinch up
enabling Mfer to counter with a crisp jab.
Darius has a takedown stuffed.
A little jabbing left from Mfer on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Mfer throws a shot from downtown. Darius moves away and avoids it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mfer looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Mfer looks to score with a jab to the body but Darius is just out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Darius fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Darius looks to land a left hand but Mfer moved out of range nicely.

Mfer throws a jab but it's blocked by Darius.

Darius was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Darius shoots in looking for a takedown. Mfer tries to sprawl out of it but Darius keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mfer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Mfer follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.

Mfer walks forward, straight into a front kick from Darius.
Mfer scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Darius has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Forge 👊 in the buildup to the fight.

Mfer uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Darius has time to react.

Darius lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Darius gets in close and instigates a clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Mfer tries to work over Darius's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Mfer's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Mfer misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Mfer doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Darius misses with a hook to the ribs.
A right handed body shot lands from Mfer.
Mfer has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Darius seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Mfer can turn it around.

Darius is trying to trip Mfer. He has hold of a leg but Mfer is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Darius persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Darius is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Mfer has Darius pulled in close to control his posture.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mfer has his feet on Darius's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Darius tries to move into range but Mfer moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Darius tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mfer swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Mfer cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Mfer sizes up Darius with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Darius is rocked!
Mfer lands a brutal uppercut that launches Darius off his feet! Darius tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Huntti Mfer!
Huntti Mfer opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
Benny Darius was interviewed post fight and said 'Thank you to my opponent and all the fans, my coaches and sponsors.'.
