Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Larry Pindleton (ranked 1455 p4p, 2085 weight class) and Tyler Elliot (ranked 115 p4p, 158 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Larry Pindleton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tyler Elliot!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Winston Alpacca and Sandra Marshall.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pindleton has closed the distance and engaged Elliot in a clinch.
Elliot looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Elliot is looking to control Pindleton's arms but Pindleton gets an underhook and turns him. Now Elliot has his back to the cage.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Pindleton tries to work over Elliot's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Elliot tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Elliot tries to break the clinch but Pindleton is controlling the position.

Elliot escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Pindleton circles away from the clinch attempt.
Pindleton was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Pindleton instigates a clinch.
Elliot is trying to stall.
Elliot trying to land knees to the body.
Pindleton managing to block the knees to the body from Elliot.
Pindleton definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Elliot pulls Pindleton into guard.
Pindleton looking to sit in guard and control but Elliot gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Elliot is stalling in the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Elliot trying to control the position from guard on top but Pindleton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Elliot tries to free his leg and advance position but Pindleton is retaining full guard.
Elliot is fighting to break Pindleton's control of his arms but Pindleton is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Elliot prevents Pindleton from getting back to his feet.
Elliot stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pindleton swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Elliot is stalling in the full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Elliot advances position into side control!
Pindleton is trying to control Elliot's posture but Elliot avoids it.
Elliot throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Elliot is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pindleton is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Elliot throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Pindleton on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Pindleton tries to get out of the position.
Pindleton tries to bench press Elliot off him but Elliot keeps the position.
Elliot working the ground and pound from side control.

Elliot tries for a kimura but Pindleton is defending well.

Elliot is working to tighten his grip on Pindleton's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Pindleton has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Elliot is really squeezing tight and eventually Pindleton passes out! Elliot breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Tyler Elliot!
Larry Pindleton was interviewed post fight and said 'He did his thing and was the better fighter today. Props to him, next time I come out I will just have to do better.'.
