The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Joe closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Joe connects with a nice short shot to Texiera's temple.

Joe really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Texiera. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Texiera has his feet on Joe's thighs here. He's pushed Joe off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Joe screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
