Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between George Pogie (ranked 1981 p4p, 1650 weight class) and Eli Vaughn (ranked 245 p4p, 210 weight class). Pogie comes to the cage accompanied by Nobody’s Angel. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, George Pogie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Eli Vaughn!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Daniel Franklin and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Vaughn looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Vaughn closes the distance looking to clinch
and Pogie counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Pogie.
Vaughn seems keen to control Pogie's posture.
Vaughn tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Vaughn looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Pogie looking to sit in guard and control but Vaughn gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Pogie looking to hit a scissor sweep but Vaughn is one step ahead there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pogie preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Vaughn trying to control but Pogie is working from the bottom.
Vaughn avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pogie had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Vaughn defends it easily.
Vaughn scoring with some ground and pound.
Vaughn slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Pogie is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Vaughn wants to control but Pogie is keeping him busy.
Pogie tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Vaughn takes a little break here. Pogie wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pogie tries to buck Vaughn off but Vaughn is having none of it.
Vaughn scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Pogie to see if he's OK.
Pogie has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Pogie on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Vaughn laying and praying for a moment but Pogie takes advantage and regains half guard.
Vaughn is trying to control. Pogie wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Vaughn lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Pogie! More strikes land and this one is all over! Vaughn jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eli Vaughn!
