Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nico Lange (ranked 2314 p4p, 1497 weight class) and Josh Jordan (ranked 190 p4p, 131 weight class). Jordan has chosen Beguiled- Smashing Pumpkins as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jordan takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Lange seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Lange throws a hook but Jordan avoids it easily.
Jordan fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lange looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Jordan displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lange.
Jordan scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Jordan lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Lange doesn't manage to clinch there - Jordan circles away.

Jordan manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Jordan throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Lange's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Jordan dives in looking to finish as Lange flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Jordan's strikes! Jordan is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Lange's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Lange was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
