Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick Connor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Flare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rick Connor has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, William Gold and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Connor looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Flare should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Connor tries to clinch there but Flare circles away.
Connor throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Flare was covering up waiting for the punch and Connor finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Connor tries to stand but Flare is controlling from the bottom.
Flare working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Connor doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Connor manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Flare cracks Connor with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Flare working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Connor turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Flare off and cradles Connor's limp body as Flare celebrates with his corner.
