The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good exchange - Miekka coming out on top.

Irving throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Irving gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Miekka throws a lazy body kick
and Irving counters with a straight right hand.
Irving just misses with a punch to the body.
Puukko Miekka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Irving throws a wild body kick that Miekka sees coming a mile off.
Irving moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Irving tries to clinch but Miekka moves out of range.
It looked like Miekka wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Irving wants to slow Miekka down by chopping away at his legs.
Irving throws a head kick that misses.

Miekka ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Irving moves away.
Miekka is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Miekka stuns Irving with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Irving walks into a left hand.
A decent looking cross lands there for Miekka.

Irving is rocked!
Miekka throws a monster overhand right that drops Irving! Miekka follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
