Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jaiden Montgomery (ranked 4129 p4p, 4209 weight class) and Grayson Sideris (ranked 437 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jaiden Montgomery! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Grayson Sideris! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sideris throws a leg kick and Montgomery counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Montgomery slips under a jab from Sideris. Montgomery appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. The fighters circling - Sideris throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Montgomery throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sideris stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Sideris tries to land a body kick and Montgomery cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Sideris fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Montgomery manages to avoid it. Sideris takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Sideris misses with a straight right. Montgomery throwing a counter right hand but Sideris manages to avoid it. Sideris drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Sideris postures up.
Sideris trying to stand up but can't free himself from Montgomery's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sideris throwing strikes but missing. Sideris throws a strike but Montgomery rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Sideris looking for a sweep. Not yet Sideris, not yet. Sideris trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Sideris has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Montgomery has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Sideris wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Montgomery fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Montgomery tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Sideris just stands there and leans against the cage. Sideris escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A low kick from Sideris misses and Montgomery counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Sideris lands a nice leg kick that just misses Montgomery's sensitive parts. Montgomery checks the leg kick. A looping hook to the body misses from Sideris. Montgomery does a little dance to reset his feet. Montgomery appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Grayson Sideris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sideris looks to land a left hand but Montgomery moved out of range nicely. Montgomery appears to be looking for a big counter. Sideris throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Montgomery throwing a counter right hand but Sideris manages to avoid it. Sideris throws a head kick but Montgomery moves out of range.
Montgomery swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Sideris misses with a right hand and Montgomery counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sideris tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Montgomery was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Sideris does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. A big right from Sideris misses. A little feinted left hand from Montgomery on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sideris throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Montgomery connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Sideris fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Montgomery has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Sideris jabs Montgomery to the body, keeping him at a distance. Sideris takes the fight into the clinch. Montgomery tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jaiden Montgomery. That's going to take a lot out of him. Montgomery tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Sideris just stands there and leans against the cage. Montgomery jumps guard but Sideris stands there with Montgomery around his waist. Montgomery gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Sideris misses with a wild body shot. Montgomery was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Montgomery lands with a nice body punch. Montgomery gets caught flat footed, as Sideris shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Montgomery keeping full guard, as Sideris tries to pass. Sideris looks winded! Sideris loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Sideris really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Montgomery. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Montgomery is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Sideris is looking to work some ground and pound but Montgomery has wrist control. Sideris is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Sideris tries to free his leg and advance position but Montgomery is retaining full guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Grayson Sideris dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Sideris pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Montgomery throwing a counter right hand but Sideris manages to avoid it. Sideris digs a good hook to Montgomery's body.
Sideris throws a leg kick and Montgomery counters with a stiff right hand. Sideris lands a leg kick that knocks Montgomery off balance momentarily. Sideris takes a swing at Montgomery's ribcage but misses. Montgomery is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Sideris throws a body kick that misses. Montgomery is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Montgomery avoids a lazy jab quite easily. A counter left hand to the body from Montgomery misses its target. Sideris has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Sideris changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Montgomery takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Sideris throws a half hearted mid kick. Sideris throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Montgomery appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sideris throws a nice looking combination but Montgomery bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Sideris scores with a takedown into Montgomery's guard. Sideris is breathing heavily. Sideris pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Montgomery is keeping the position for now. Montgomery working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sideris doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Montgomery is tightening it up a little... Sideris has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Sideris reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Sideris taps out! Nice BJJ there by Montgomery!
