Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jihadi John (ranked 4101 p4p, 5222 weight class) and Miles Velez (ranked 0 p4p, 506 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Miles Velez!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, William Gold and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
John tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Velez was well out of range. Poor timing from John.
John throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Oooooh!!! Velez has knocked John down with a huge combo! Velez steps away and waves a wobbly John back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Velez misses the shot to the body.
Velez digs a good hook to John's body.
Velez scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Velez.
John throwing a counter right hand but Velez manages to avoid it.

Velez pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Velez pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Velez scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Velez just content to control the position.
Velez in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... John is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
