Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Song (ranked 25123 p4p, 3052 weight class) and Anderson Do Souza (ranked 383 p4p, 0 weight class). Anderson Do Souza told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 28 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jacob Song!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anderson Do Souza!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Fujiwara and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Song looks to score with a jab to the body but Do Souza is just out of range.
Do Souza unleashes a big counter combination but Song bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Do Souza tries to close the distance and clinch up but Song swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Do Souza doesn't manage to clinch there - Song circles away.
Song swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Do Souza.
Do Souza avoids the strikes from the bottom by Song.
Song on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Song tries to get out of the position.
Song misses with a strike from the bottom.
Do Souza has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Do Souza closes the distance and clinches up with Song, looking for a takedown. Do Souza pushes Song against the cage but Song circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Song misses with a series of wild punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Do Souza lands a jab-cross combination.
Do Souza tries for a takedown but Song sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Do Souza closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Song's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Song throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Do Souza stumbling backwards into the cage! Do Souza bounces back off the cage towards Song, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Song lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Song celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jacob Song!
