Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Timmy Tung (ranked 5244 p4p, 3627 weight class) and Josue Luna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Timmy Tung could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Josue Luna's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Timmy Tung!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Josue Luna!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Bart Greer and Sandra Marshall.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luna shoots for a double leg takedown but Tung sprawls well. He's pushed Luna's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
As Luna looks to move away, Tung throws a big counter combo but Luna just gets out of the way.
Luna throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Luna throws a poor cross that misses
letting Tung counter with a right hand.
Nice defenses there by Tung.
Luna gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Tung counters with a series of strikes. Luna will be more careful next time no doubt.
Luna shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tung as he jumps to the side.
Timmy Tung has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josue Luna.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Luna misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Luna feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Tung really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Tung knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Luna on the ground.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Luna is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Luna prevents Tung from improving his position.
Luna keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Luna is thwarting Tung's attempts to control the position.
Luna passes to full mount!

Luna has hold of Tung's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Tung manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tung tries to lock up and control but Luna gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Luna postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Tung bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Luna and the fight is over!
