Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Deimos Arima!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 25 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Diego Hageman!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hageman is trying hard to land a takedown here. Arima sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Nice sprawl there from Arima as Hageman shoots in.
Hageman tries for a takedown but Arima circles away easily
and Arima counters with a left and a right that stings Hageman.
Deimos Arima has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Diego Hageman.
Arima clinches up with Hageman and pushes him back against the cage.
Arima pushes Hageman back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Arima lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Arima jumps guard.
Arima is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hageman is aware though and is defending well.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hageman wants to control from the top but Arima keeps moving.
Arima looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Arima has his foot on Hageman's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hageman works his way back into a safe position though.

Arima is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Arima keeping moving, preventing Hageman from controlling successfully.
Hageman has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Arima to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Hageman is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Arima pulls down on the head and he's put Hageman to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Deimos Arima!
