Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dean Muskle (ranked 4194 p4p, 4222 weight class) and Benny Strand (ranked 0 p4p, 433 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Franklyn Lucas and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muskle drives through and clinches with Strand against the cage.
Strand escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Strand misses with a head kick.

Muskle shoots in and bounces Strand off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Muskle chips away with some ground and pound.
Strand avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Muskle seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Strand really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Muskle. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Muskle wants to finish this one by submission but Strand is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Muskle.

Strand had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Muskle defends it easily.

Strand is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Muskle jumps into side control!

Muskle is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Strand looks calm but he's in trouble here. Muskle gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Strand is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Muskle lets go of the hold and Strand can pop his arm back in it's socket.
