Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Caleb DeCoteau (ranked 1695 p4p, 22248 weight class) and Monty Don (ranked 210 p4p, 599 weight class). Monty Don struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 207.6lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeCoteau scores with a head kick. Don tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
It looks like Monty Don has been cut.
Don takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
The crowd cheers as DeCoteau lands an impressive looking overhand right. Don doesn't seem phased though.
Caleb DeCoteau seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
DeCoteau drops Don with a huge uppercut! Don drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. DeCoteau is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Caleb DeCoteau!
A less than humble Caleb DeCoteau misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
