Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Christopher Pike (ranked 822 p4p, 1658 weight class) and Tamryn Shihsaidov (ranked 65 p4p, 126 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Pike might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to DMX - Intro. Shihsaidov is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: “Soviet Connection”. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tamryn Shihsaidov!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shihsaidov tries to bum rush Pike with a series of wild strikes but Pike uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Pike lands a high kick!
It looks like Tamryn Shihsaidov has been cut.
Shihsaidov misses with a body shot.
Pike is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Shihsaidov.
Shihsaidov looks to land a right hand but Pike moved out of range.
It looked like Pike wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Shihsaidov misses with a looping right.
Shihsaidov takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Pike lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Pike definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Shihsaidov lands a jab to Pike's midsection.
Some wild striking there from Pike.

Shihsaidov is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Pike displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Shihsaidov throws out the jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fight stays on the outside here - Shihsaidov looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Pike lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Shihsaidov is rocked!
Pike lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Shihsaidov up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Pike from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Shihsaidov's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Christopher Pike!
