Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bernard McCurtney!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brady Walker!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCurtney fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
McCurtney seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
McCurtney staying out of range there.
McCurtney throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Walker sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Walker moves in looking to clinch but McCurtney pushes him off.
McCurtney lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Walker backs up against the cage.
It looks like Brady Walker has been cut.
A jab lands there for McCurtney.
Walker is rocked!
McCurtney swats away the attempt to clinch by Walker.
Walker is still on wobbly legs! Can McCurtney finish him?
Walker slips a jab and a cross from McCurtney.
Walker has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Walker tries to clinch up but McCurtney circles away and keeps his distance.
Walker throws a big shot that misses.
McCurtney appears to be looking for a big counter.
Walker stuns McCurtney with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
McCurtney grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Walker takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! McCurtney cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Bernard McCurtney!
After winning the bout, Bernard McCurtney thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
