Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wanderlei Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Medeiros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Sandstorm Darude. Medeiros is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Liberate. Dan Medeiros will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Paulo Santos and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Silva closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Medeiros is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva is looking to take a break and control but Medeiros is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Silva is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Medeiros is trying to escape and Silva transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Medeiros is forced to tap! Nice work there by Silva! Very nice indeed!
