Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Drake Lane!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cote lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Lane throws a shot to the body.
Lane looks to land a combination but Cote avoids it well.
Cote takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Cote misses with a two punch combination.
Lane throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lane swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Cote is trying to pull guard but Lane turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

As Cote backs off Lane throws a huge counter combo but Cote manages to avoid it all.
Drake Lane is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Lane lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Cote tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Lane counters with a nice body shot.

Cote looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Lane takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Lane shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cote pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Lane throws a hook to the side of Cote's head but Cote sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Cote closes the distance and pushes Lane back into the cage.

Cote has had enough of the clinch but Lane keeps him there for the moment.

We've been informed that Lane has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Lane enables Cote to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Lane manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

No joy there for Lane, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Cote takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Lane throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Cote.
Both fighters circling a little - Cote finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Cote fails with an attempt to clinch.
Cote lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Lane at a distance.
Lane misses with a jab, cross combination.
Cote pushes Lane away with a front kick.
Nice shot lands for Lane.
The fighters circle, before Cote throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Lane's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Cote lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Brian Cote!
Brian Cote really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Conquest Nutrition™ (160Q) $48 logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
