Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tony D Angelo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Josue Luna!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Bart Greer and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
D Angelo shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Luna is trying to defend but D Angelo finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Luna kicks off D Angelo and gets to his feet.
D Angelo closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - D Angelo lands in his opponent's guard.
Luna is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
D Angelo tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Luna just stands there and leans against the cage.
D Angelo is looking for a takedown.
Luna pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
D Angelo tries to clinch up
and Luna counters with a single leg into guard. D Angelo didn't expect that.
That's one minute gone in the round.
D Angelo looking for a sweep. Not yet D Angelo, not yet.
Luna controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Luna stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Luna stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Luna wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony D Angelo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Luna throws a half hearted mid kick.
D Angelo dives in and scores a takedown into Luna's guard.
Luna pushes D Angelo off and gets back to his feet.
D Angelo is breathing heavily.
Luna lands with a kick to the temple. D Angelo shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Tony D Angelo has been cut.
D Angelo tries to close the distance and clinch but Luna swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Luna clinches up with D Angelo and pushes him back against the cage.

Luna manages to pull guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Luna is on top in guard.
Luna gets to his feet - D Angelo follows without any prompting.
Luna looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Luna is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! D Angelo is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
