Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 26 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Diego Hageman!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hageman closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bitok did well to prevent Hageman getting side control.
Hageman is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Bitok sees it coming and defends easily.
Bitok keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Hageman has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Bitok has momentary wrist control but Hageman slips an elbow through the middle.
Hageman drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bitok manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Hageman has Bitok in his guard.
Hageman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Hageman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bitok pinned against the cage. Bitok gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
It appears Bitok was looking to counter with a kick there.
