Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dawindi Buktot (ranked 23927 p4p, 23885 weight class) and Walay Buut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 39 - 59 - 5, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dawindi Buktot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 54 - 46 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walay Buut! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Buut darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Buktot punching from the bottom.
Buktot is looking to control Buut's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Buktot avoid being mounted? Buktot keeping hold of Buut's head, controlling as best he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buktot's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buktot blocking the ground and pound attempt from Buut. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Buut with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. It looks like Buut might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Buut dives in for a single leg takedown but Buktot sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Buktot fails to land the takedown. Buut unleashes a big counter combination but Buktot bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Buktot shoots in and gets a takedown into Buut's guard. Buktot sitting in guard here, content to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buut throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Buut looking for a triangle here. Buktot is fighting it but it looks tight! Buut pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Buktot is tapping out - this one is all over!
