And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Devin Gripperson!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gripperson clinches up against the cage.
Gripperson jumps guard but Bliss stands there with Gripperson around his waist. Gripperson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Bliss doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Bliss creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Gripperson fails to pull guard.
Bliss softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
A short right from Bliss on the inside.
Gripperson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bliss smiles and moves away.
Chuck Bliss has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Devin Gripperson.
Gripperson moves in looking to clinch but Bliss pushes him off.
Gripperson on the wrong end of a nice jab.
It looks like Devin Gripperson has been cut.
Bliss connects with a body shot that sends Gripperson's belly button to the back.
Gripperson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Bliss rushes Gripperson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Gripperson is trying to pull guard but Bliss turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Bliss lands a nice shot to the body.
Gripperson looks winded!
Bliss lands a right hand.

Gripperson jumps guard but Bliss stands there with Gripperson around his waist. Gripperson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Bliss lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Bliss stalling against the cage.
Gripperson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bliss walks away with a smile on his face. Gripperson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Devin Gripperson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gripperson tries to clinch but Bliss moves away
and Gripperson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Bliss with a jab.
Bliss drops Gripperson with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Gripperson! Bliss dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chuck Bliss!
