Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rotel scores with a one two! Hammer had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

It looks like Sheldon Hammer has been cut.

Hammer closes the distance and pushes Rotel back into the cage.
Hammer jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rotel walks away with a smile on his face. Hammer gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Sheldon Hammer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hammer tries to clinch up but Rotel circles away and keeps his distance.
A little feinted left hand from Rotel on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Rotel throws a series of punches but Hammer moves out of range.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hammer tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rotel swivels and escapes.
A little feinted left hand from Rotel on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Ricky Rotel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sheldon Hammer.
Hammer tries to bum rush Rotel with a series of wild strikes but Rotel uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Rotel lands with an overhand left.
Rotel misses with a two punch combination.
Rotel has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Hammer shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rotel but Rotel pushes him off and we're back to square one.

That has opened up Sheldon Hammer's cut even more.
Hammer slips a jab and a cross from Rotel.
Hammer misses with a takedown attempt - Rotel sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Hammer tries to clinch but Rotel moves out of range.
Rotel displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hammer.
Hammer takes one to the chin there.

Rotel uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Nice straight punches there by Hammer. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Hammer.
Ricky Rotel is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hammer doesn't manage to clinch there - Rotel circles away.
Rotel moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hammer dives in for a single leg takedown but Rotel sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

The crowd cheers as Rotel lands an impressive looking overhand right. Hammer doesn't seem phased though.

The cut above Sheldon Hammer's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Hammer fails with the takedown
and Rotel counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Rotel throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hammer on the side of the head.
Hammer looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Rotel lands a brutal uppercut that launches Hammer off his feet! Hammer tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
